Spike island, located in Eastleigh, was originally named because of the fence that separated, Mods from Rockers that congregated in this area close to the station in the 60s.
These days its all a bit more friendly with Triumphs and the like parked next to Vespa and Lambrettas while the owners chat and browse our stock or wait for their MOT slot.
Started in the late 1980's the shop grew up fast, buying and importing bikes directly from Italy. Alas the market has declined as the supply dried up, but we still have contacts and buyers in Italy looking for bikes of interest.
Sticking with our aim of supply a range of good quality bikes at a good price we now buy locally and try to maintain a stock of sports, commuter, touring and trail bikes. Take a look at our Stock List for the latest selection.
When possible we also like to indulge our passion for bikes and have something a little different for sale, from an Benelli to a Zundap. If not we always have some thing special to look at from our private collection. You never know what you may see!
